BeatStatus is an East Coast music instrument customization shop and an accompanying hiphop production blog. A great project that combines the elements of a store and a very image heavy blog.
It was built on Wordpress with a customized e-commerce plugin that integrates seamlessly. Shopping cart is only on the shop pages and provides simple checkout with Paypal. Full functionality and a great site with limited resources + a limited startup budget.
